Workshop: Journey Folded Fabric Quilts with Jan Hunold
Time: 1pm-5pm
Cost: $13 (payment options below).
Description: Jan will be teaching her workshop that she calls a "Journey". We will be creating a table runner or a wall hanging using a folded fabric technique. This is a good project to use up your scrap fabrics. With a simple folded fabric technique, add dynamic texture to your quilt. This folded technique adds a third layer to a half-square triangle. The half-square triangles are folded back to reveal a sliver of a highlighted curve. Each block requires three fabrics. The result is a stunning block that looks complicated, but is very simple. Blocks can be arranged in the usual rows and columns or turned in different directions to create a pathway among the curves. Be creative withyour blocks! Create your own journey!
