Evening Program: Deb Brockway Trunk Show
Description: Deb finds pleasure in creating quilts inspired by the natural world experimenting with materials and techniques to enhance the fabric. Deb will show us some of her favorite creations.

Workshop: Design Quilt Blocks for Foundation Paper Piecing

Supplies: paper, pencil, eraser, & a ruler (Optional: sewing machine, thread, and fabric)
Description: Learn the fundamentals of designing your own quilt blocks using the foundation paper (FPP) method. We will review the essential principles of FFP design, from understanding block construction and seam placement to creating patterns using graph paper or digital tools. The rules of line placement, fermentation of the block, and order of the assembly will be shown. You will need paper, pencil, eraser, and a ruler. If you want to assemble your block in the workshop; you will also need to bring a sewing machine, thread, and fabric.
